The Katal Center for Health, Equity and Justice is a non-profit that deals largely with ending mass criminalization, mass incarceration, and ending the war on drugs. They came to me wanting a bolder, fresher look for their website. I combined black and white images with a bright color palette, and gave them a simple update to their logo with white text encircled in a rich blue. The circle motif is repeated on various elements throughout the site, creating a cohesive look. They also wanted their site to act as a resource. For this I made the “Issues” front and center, and added related content to every issue page.
