Ocean Connect Logo

Ocean Connect’s mission is to inspire students from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue careers tied to the ocean. For their logo, I centered the design on the idea of connection. The “O” in Ocean and the “C” in Connect were reimagined as interlocking rings, symbolizing unity and opportunity. To reinforce the ocean theme, I applied a gradient of blues and transformed the “C” in Connect into a wave. Since the organization’s primary audience is high school students, I paired the graphic with a futuristic, gaming-inspired typeface that feels modern, bold, and engaging.
