Downtown Independent Democrats Logo

The Downtown Independent Democrats is a self-described club of independently thinking Democrats in lower Manhattan. They came to me wanting a logo that emphasized these three words: Downtown, Independent, and Democrat. I created a graphical representation of the quintessential downtown New York skyline, superimposing it on the three letters of their acronym: DID. Placing the Statue of Liberty in the center "I" sets this letter apart and underscores the idea that they are independent thinkers.
