Using NationBuilder’s built-in petition functionality, Britain Remade secured over 11,000 signatures for a petition to then–Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, calling for the removal of the ban on onshore wind farms. The ban was subsequently lifted—a clear demonstration of how mission-driven campaigns can deliver tangible, real-world change.

ActionButton is NationBuilder’s integrated platform for audience engagement, enabling citizens to participate directly in the democratic process. In just a few clicks, individuals can email their government representatives, advocating for the issues that matter most to them. With its streamlined interface and intuitive setup, ActionButton eliminates unnecessary distractions, ensuring the message remains clear and impactful.
Custom Navigation
When a page needs to house a large volume of content, the most effective approach is to break it into clear sections and provide intuitive navigation for seamless scrolling. "Back to Top" buttons functionality also keeps long-form content manageable. For Britain Remade, I achieved the solution by leveraging NationBuilder subpages in combination with a single tag.
Colors, Logos, and Languages, Oh My!
As a Great Britain-wide organization, Britain Remade sought to ensure inclusivity at every turn. Each of the three published regions — England, Scotland, and Wales — features a distinct BRM logo, a tailored color scheme, and, in the case of Wales, dedicated Welsh-language content. Delivering this flexibility while enabling the BRM team to easily create new pages was a significant technical challenge. The solution, while requiring extensive under-the-hood programming, offered them a simple tagging system to achieve seamless this implementation.
